If you know me you know I've made a major change recently. My ever evolving career has taken giant leap towards the metaphysical. This is huge for me because the last thing I want and the thing I worry about a lot is losing clients over being weird. Well, maybe I am weird or maybe I'm finally, at almost 52, coming into my own. Those of you that don't accept that, I wish you the best of luck. Those who stay I say welcome and THANK YOU.
So, what happened? Missing my mom is what happened. December 8, 1986 was the worst day of my life. My mother passed away at the very young age of 44. It wasn't planned or expected. On Saturday night she had another of her numerous heart attacks. Ok. Hospital again. On Sunday a doctor with a horrible bedside manner, who my mother despised, was on call and he held a family meeting. She is not going to make it this time. By Monday evening she was gone. Well years went by and the pain remained. Yes, it lessoned a bit but suddenly last summer it hit me, it's been 30 years! That's when I "found" Alea Dawn and the KERA Center. More later...
